Taking inspiration from Vogue, we've decided to let our users get to know some of the staff here at Ecanvasser a little better with a quickfire interview. It's not 73 questions but she's a busy lady so 15 will have to do. Introducing our resident graphic designer and proud Italian export Paola DiGiorgio.

Q. We'll keep it pretty simple to start, how did you get interested in graphic design?

For as long as I can remember my dream job was creating cartoons. I was fortunate to begin working at a web agency in my earlier years and that has led me down a similar route.

Q. If you weren't into graphic design what kind of career would you be doing?

As I mentioned before, becoming an animator has always been my dream, but my other two big passions are music and animals. I'd probably be a musician (when I was younger I played bass guitar) or perhaps a career working with animals.

Q. Why did you choose Cork to come live in?

I have a couple of dear friends who live here. Good IT job offers also convinced my husband and I to move here.

Q. What are three words you would use to describe living in Cork City?

Quiet, international & kind.

Q. What’s your favorite movie?

In general, I love auteur film, but Porco Rosso (Hayao Miyazaki) and Wild Strawberries (Ingmar Bergman) are my favorite ones.

Q. A book you read that positively shaped you?

Momo by Michael Ende.

Q. Twitter or Instagram?

Pinterest :)

Q. What’s your favorite food?

Pizza, obviously!

Q. What’s your favorite band?

It really depends on my mood, but in general, The Cure are my go to favorites.

Q. Hardest part about being the only one who can draw in the office?

Giving shape to other people's vision.

Q. A historical figure you’d love to have coffee with?

Claude Monet.

Q. Do you bake?

Yes, I do.

Q. What's your favorite thing to bake?

I bake an amazing Sacher Torte.

Q. Best Invention?

Books.

Q. Did you find this interview strange?

Not at all.

Listening to our current users,  we are aware that there can be an internal struggle of team management when it comes to organizing quickly. To get people out on doors, the back and forth over Whatsapp, Messenger, and (insert other apps here) can be endless. We aim to streamline this process for you with Ecanvasser. Now organizers can commit via the Walk app (their canvassing app!) and get notified in the run-up to the event so that they don’t forget. By building it into the door knocking process life has gotten a lot easier for campaign managers.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
