What is phonebanking?
Phonebanking is that super efficient voter outreach method whereby your campaign team sit down and go through a list of voters to contact by phone. It is managed very simply through Ecanvasser whereby an individual team member will be assigned a list of people and they can move their way through that list, ticking them off as they go. It is best employed as a way to follow up with voters who have indicated an interest in your candidate or in the run up to election day for get out the vote purposes.
Many of our customers ask about phonebanking and even though we are not primarily a phonebanking software, we do facilitate it as we realise it is a complementary activity to face to face outreach.
For a Phone Banking operation, invite team members to your campaign as normal, as outlined in the following article:
- As Phone Banking is completed via the Ecanvasser Dashboard, ensure that you set the Permission Level for these Team Members as Campaign Staffer.
- Remember, your Groups need only be as segmented as you require, so if you want to only ring people who were undecided about your candidate you can do this.
Phone Banking in Action
Your Campaign Staffers can now access their daily/weekly calls to be made via the Filter on the People tab. They may Canvass most rapidly by use of the available Quick Icons, or select an entry to review all available data on a household in full.
