Eir is the principal provider of fixed-line and mobile telecommunications services in Ireland with approximately 2 million customers. The Group provides a comprehensive range of advanced voice, data, broadband and TV services to the residential, small business, enterprise and government markets. A key component of their sales strategy is their field sales team, “feet on the street”, which ranks second to their retail channel.

Eir's Challenge

Before adopting Ecanvasser, Eir managed a large field sales team using highly manual, outdated processes. Operations relied heavily on Excel spreadsheets, with workflows described as “just a step above pen and paper”, a stark contrast to their more advanced retail sales channel.

This approach created several key challenges:
